The Geauga County Sheriff Office tells 3News it is investigating a report of an armed robbery that happened Tuesday night on U.S. Route 422 where a couple said they were forced to stop by masked gunmen.

According to Broadcastify, the female called 911 and told dispatcher that someone had pulled a gun on her and her husband and demanded money.

She told dispatchers that the suspects instructed them not to look up for five minutes after the suspects left the scene.

Sheriff deputies responded to the scene to interview the couple, but according to Broadcastify say there may have been a language barrier. --
