“You Reap What You Sow” Prince Andrew And Harry SIDELINED By Buckingham Palace From Royal Role

Buckingham Palace has made provisions to prevent Prince Andrew and Prince Harry from standing-in for the King.

Both remain counsellors of state — members of the royal family who can officially carry out duties if the sovereign is unwell or abroad. However, the King discreetly made provision to sideline them in an act instigated shortly after he ascended the throne.

The prospect of the King being treated in hospital and the Prince of Wales halting his official duties to care for his wife, Kate, has raised questions over which Counsellors of State might be needed to step in.

Buckingham Palace has said that it did not anticipate Counsellors of State being necessary when the King is treated for an enlarged, benign prostate next week.
