#BumiSerpongDamai, commonly referred to #BSDCity is a privately developed planned community at #Serpong district of #SouthTangerang, within Greater Jakarta in Indonesia. The project was initiated in 1984 by a group of private developers and starred in 1989. The town is implemented and managed by the holding company PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk, which is owned by #SinarMasLand, a subsidiary of the #SinarMas Group, a large industrial conglomerate in Indonesia. #BSD City encompasses a total area of approximately 6,000 hectares. The homes in the community are designed to be suitable for Indonesia's upper-middle class, in gated neighbourhoods, each with a different theme. At the time of project development during 90's, BSD City was the most ambitious urban planning scheme in Indonesia to combine housing, business and commercial properties. BSD is a complete community, with businesses, schools, shopping malls, hospitals and hotels.

Indonesia Convention Exhibition ( #ICE ) is a convention and exhibition centre located at BSD City, which is the #biggestconvention and exhibition centre in Indonesia.

BSD has several universities within the township, the most renowned are the #SwissGermanUniversity (has since relocated to #AlamSutera due to land issues), International University Liaison Indonesia - IULI, Prasetiya Mulya University and Atmajaya Catholic University. Furthermore several private secondary level schools are available in the area including, #BINUS School Serpong Cambridge International School, Saint John, Stella Maris, Al-Azhar, Santa Ursula as well as The German International School Jakarta.

Construction of a #SmartDigitalCity is going on, first phase of which is expected to be completed by 2019. Sinar Mas Group has formed a joint-venture with a Japanese consortium led by automotive conglomerate Mitsubishi Corporation to develop a mixed-use area in BSD City, with an investment of more than $260 million.

Jakarta–Serpong Toll Road connects BSD City with Jakarta. Serpong railway station, #RawaBuntu railway station, and #Cisauk railway station of Jakarta Commuter Rail is situated within and nearby the development. #TransJakarta has a feeder route from BSD City to Jelambar in West Jakarta. There are free shuttle and school bus services within the development. There are also shuttle bus services that provides services to MRT's Fatmawati station.

BSD City Intermodal area connects transportation from within and outside the township through Jakarta Commuter Rail, and transportation within the BSD City itself with the free shuttle bus BSD Link that connects several important locations in BSD City

#GadingSerpong is a township, 21 km west of Jakarta at #KelapaDua, #Tangerang Regency of #Banten province in Indonesia. Total land area of this satellite city is about 1500 hectares, which was being first developed by PT Summarecon Agung as Summarecon Serpong. In 1993, Keris Group in-cooperated with the development and the name was changed as Gading Serpong. Later #Paramount Land also joined the project. To accelerate development in 2004, partners of the project decided to develop the #Gading #Serpong region individually, with a share of approximately equal shares. Now the township is mainly divided into two parts as #SummareconSerpong and #ParamountSerpong. The township already has schools, universities and colleges, modern markets, sports and recreation clubs, golf courses and clubs, hotels, convention centres, and hospitals.

Gading Serpong has direct access to Jakarta-Merak Toll Road and Jakarta Outer Ring Road. TransJakarta operates feeder bus routes from the township to different areas of Jakarta. Serpong railway station and the adjacent Rawa Buntu station of Jakarta Commuter Rail is located close to the township.
