Which beats Pokemon Yellow faster? Normal-type Gengar VS Ghost/Poison Clefable

Gengar and Clefable have always been linked in the minds of Pokemon fans. But how would they perform in Pokemon Yellow if we swapped their typing?

Gengar usually dominates thank to not only its excellent Speed and Special but also because it is immune to Fighting- and Normal-type moves. Add on sleep and strong special attacks, and it typically dominates a full-game playthrough. But what if opponents could take advantage of its weak Defense and HP with Hyper Beams and Hi Jump Kicks?

Clefable on the other hand benefits from its fast level up rat and Nomal-typing, giving it no weaknesses outside of Fighting. And since it has the HP and Defense to tank hits and a massive movepool to cover every type of opponent, it can usually find the luck to get a victory. But can it survive the insanely powerful Psychic- and Ground-type opponents without the Speed to hit first?

-Solo Challenge: No other Pokemon in battle, no items in battle, no glitches exploits (other than badge boost glitch)
*IF team faints, we can faint HM pokemon to blackout*
-No optional battles
-No Vitamins
-Avoid Rare Candie and TMs as much as possible unless they make logical sense.
-0 DVs/0 IVs
-Types are swapped - Gengar is a Normal-type, Clefable is a Ghost/Poison-type
-Movesets are unchanged
-Scores are based on my scoring criteria below
-First playthroughs for both Pokemon

~~Scoring System~~

Scoring:
-Pokemon Starts with a score of 100 points.
-Minus 0.1 points per reset (10 resets = 1 point)
-Minus 0.25 points per optional battle (4 optional battles = 1 point)
-Minus 1 point per TM (Excluding Broken TMs)
-Minus 10 points per Broken TM (Double Team, Substitute, Mimic, Rest, Bide, Toxic)
