A deadly gang war broke out in Ghodegaon, Nevasa taluka of Ahilyanagar district, reportedly due to an old rivalry. Nitin Vilas Shirsath (33) was shot dead inside a clinic, while Suraj Fulmali (23) from the rival group was seriously injured in the crossfire. Superintendent of Police Somanath Gharge confirmed that the incident was linked to a previous dispute. CCTV footage of the firing has surfaced, and police have launched an investigation. Notably, this is the second open firing incident in the district within two days.
