In this video I'm sharing the making of my song Just A Dream by taking you behind the scenes of my songwriting process. Many times I will write a song and go back in to edit it, so it has a stronger concept.

I think editing too much can take away from the initial intent and feeling behind any song, but I'm often able to identify key factors that I can improve to strengthen certain sections.

Today I'm working specifically on strengthening the chorus of my song by revising the title and looking for a hook in the melody. I usually brainstorm many ideas. Then I listen back to my session at a later time to decide which changes I'll actually keep.
