Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Temple or Srisailam Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the deities Shiva and Parvati, located at Srisailam in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
The temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Shiva.
The presiding deity in the form of Linga (an iconic form of Shiva) was worshipped with jasmine (in Telugu known as Mallika), leading to the name of presiding deity as Mallikarjuna.
Mahashivratri is the major and the main festival celebrated here.
Krishna River here is called Patal Ganga. One has to go down 852 stairs to reach the river. The Shiva Linga is bathed with the water of this river.

Buddha uncle is one inspiration that proves travelling has no age limit and knows no boundaries. You can travel whenever you feel!
He is on a mission wherein he will be completing 4 Dham & 12 Jyotirlingas of which 10 Jyotirlingas has been already in his list.

Since we reached Hyderabad before time and the bus was at night we planned to explore some of the tourists attraction of Hyderabad City which were as follows:
1. Golconda Fort

It was originally a small mud fort built by Prataparudra of the Kakatiya Empire.The name Golconda is originated from Telugu for "Cowherd's hill".It is also thought that Kakatiya ruler built a stone hilltop outpost- later which is known as Golconda fort.
Because of the vicinity of diamond mines, especially Kollur Mine, Golconda evolved as a trade centre of large diamonds known as Golconda Diamonds.


2. Jagannath Temple
The Jagannath temple in hyderabad is built by odia people.
The temple is dedicated to Lord Jagannath(Lord of Universe).The temple is located in Banjara Hills.
Also the main festival celebrated here is "JAGANNATH RATHYATRA"
The temple was built in 2019.

3. Birla Temple
The temple is located towards the south end of Hussain Sagar lake in Hyderabad.The temple was built in 1976 and constructed with white marbles brought from Rajasthan.
The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu present in the form of Sri Venkateswara.
Timings open-
7 am to 12 pm
3 pm to 9 pm

4. *CharMinar*(Four Pillars)
The charminar's history includes the existence of mosque on the top floor for than 425 years.
It is popularly known for its busy markets and is the place for major tourist attraction.
