What is Farmers World?

Farmer's World is a popular play-to-earn (P2E) game built on the Worldwide Asset eXchange (WAX) public chain. It is a role-playing game where users are tasked with harvesting crops and breeding animals. These in-game assets can then be exchanged or sold on the WAX platform.

Three in-game tokens—Food, Wood, and Gold—are used in this game. Each has a specific function and can be traded among players.

The majority of your time is spent obtaining the three resources using NFT tools, purchasing NFT Land Plots to cultivate food, and tending NFT animals. Additionally, you can auction your earned NFTs for WAX on the secondary market.

Farmers World doesn't have a narrative to follow, but it was inspired by a historic document called "Manuscript No4848" kept in the National Library of Brazil. We love the historic side the game is based, and it creates a connection with the player. But not knowing about the Manuscript won't affect the gameplay at all.

So what is Farmers World? It is a mysterious civilization in the Amazon wilderness that is rebuilding itself after a natural disaster. The game takes us to a prehistoric timeline where instead of the hustle and bustle of a modern city, you have an ancient civilization that was just getting started. You have to chop wood, catch fish, farm, and gold mine in order to advance your civilization as a player, which is a nice touch and really exciting.

GamePlay and Tokenomics

You can get started in Farmers World by visiting farmersworld.io and then clicking the green "Play & Earn" button. You are then taken to the game itself, where you log in using either Wax Cloud Wallet or Anchor. You will also need a WAX account if you intend to sell on the secondary market, which you can open at wax.io.

After you login into your WAX account, you will need some tools to get started. Tools are what you use to mine the in-game tokens. You can either craft these tools yourself or buy them at AtomicHub's marketplace through drops or secondary sales.

After being used to mine resources, each tool has an hour-long cooldown period. You are unable to use the items during this cooldown until it is over.

Starting the game with an axe and a fishing rod is advised by Farmers World. We concur, as starting a fire and recharging your energy can both be done with the fishing rod.


How to Earn from Framers World

So let's talk about why most of you are here and how to Play and Earn in Farmer's World. At its core, Farmers World is a farming game where players use their Energy and Tools to get resources to be exchanged in-game or sold in the marketplace.

Earnings in Farmers World can be done in two main ways:

But if you want to start mining in-game GoldGold, you will need around $1,200 to $1,600 to get started as of June 2022.

In order to mine Gold in-game, you need a Mining Excavator, which can be around $1,600 — about 4,700 WAX — on AtomicHub's marketplace. However, the most expensive chainsaw sold on the Farmer's World is a whopping $98,459.

New players should begin by purchasing Wood, Food, and Farm plots because they don't require as much money upfront unless you feel comfortable investing several thousand dollars into the game at once.
