Although most of my son's Tamiya Mud Blaster II updates has been going on over at our secondary channel, I just had to share the final result of his first Tamiya (and first hobby-grade RC) here!

It's been a while since it was finished but I have just now been able to do some editing. Looking forward editing his first run with it too and feature it on Nordic Hobby Visions. We had a blast!

His biggest wish for his four-year-old birthday was 'a blue monster truck' and now he definitely has a very classic, beautiful and fun one.

My son's unit got a Traxxas standard waterproof ESC and servo, a GoolRC TG-3 2.4G transimtter/receiver and the stock Tamiya Silver Can motor (Mabuchi RS-540 27T Brushed Motor). It got the 'basic/essential optional parts' like ball bearings and a steel pinion (20T) and is ready for a Subaru Brat driver and perhaps another set of upgrades.
