In this animation, the Federation's USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) takes on the Empire's Imperial II-Class Star Destroyer. Can the Star Trek universe pull out a victory against their bitter Star Wars rivals?

The Imperial II Star Destroyer is one of the most famous ships in the Star Wars universe, and its wedge-shaped design struck fear in the hearts of countless Rebels. On the other side, the USS Enterprise-D featured most prominently in Star Trek The Next Generation, was a warship also outfitted for science and exploration.

Some of the key differences between Star Trek and Star Wars is that Star Trek is science fiction while Star Wars is a science fantasy. Star Trek focuses on technology and its possibilities while Star Wars is centered on a magical force, Jedi knight, and a very large capital ship.
