The Los Angeles Lakers could have landed Uconn head basketball coach Dan Hurly after all, they didn't pay up.

Hurley reportedly turned down a 6-year $70,000,000 deal to join the Lakers and take over a team, yet insiders believed the $100,000,000 deal that was rumored to be the actual offer may have been accepted.

Hurley hinted at that today when he was a guest on multiple shows earlier today.

On top of that LeBron "I'm staying out of the coaching search" James indeed had conversations via text with Dan Hurley while he was considering taking the job.

This is also more damaging information for the Lakers front office as the team's fanbase is becoming more toxic due to their frustrations with the team.
