Top things to do in Costa Rica - Museum of Costa Rican Art - San Jose

While we were in San Jose we got out and saw a few things of cultural significance. The Museum of Costa Rican Art was not one of our primary sights to see but it was fairly close to Museo La Salle, the Natural Science Museum (there is a video on our channel for that visit), which was definitely on our list. We had this as a 'if we get there, fine' item.

After we finished La Salle we decided american-style fast food was a thing so we headed across the park to the Subway sandwich shop. There was a billboard and Sandra said "I hate to admit it but I'm kind of not horrified by that idea' (there's also a KFC but those are all over Panama and Costa Rica. And the chicken is so much better than what we get in the US it isn't even funny)

If you are in the neighborhood (Sabana) it's for sure worth a visit; not sure I would recommend traveling across town for it; it's a solid one hour activity. If you're really interested in art then maybe it's another half hour.

As a bonus, it is free to enter and they have free lockers in the lobby to stow your daypack.
