How to Connect Arlo Essential Cameras to Spectrum Internet’s 2.4GHz Channel (With Spotlights)

In this video, I’ll walk you through how to connect your Arlo Essential cameras (including models with spotlights) to Spectrum Internet’s 2.4GHz channel. At first, I struggled with trying to connect the cameras to the right Wi-Fi network, as the app guided me to look for the 2.4GHz option in my Wi-Fi list—which didn’t work.

The solution? It’s inside your Spectrum.net account! I’ll show you exactly where to find the setting.

Go to the Services tab, then check the far right sidebar for the 2.4GHz option. There’s an activation box on that page that switches your home internet to 2.4GHz for 30 minutes—perfect for setting up your Arlo cameras. After doing this, connecting should be a breeze!
