Описание к видео Sydney Trains K set Ride to Liverpool on K76 + K68 | Train Vlog #50

Sydney Trains K set Ride to Liverpool on K76 + K68. Join me for a ride on two of Sydney’s K set trains. Commonly referred to as “silver sets”, the K sets entered service in two batches between 1981 and 1985 as a follow-on order to the older S sets. K sets (and their S set “cousins”) were once a very common sight on the Sydney system, however they are at the end of their working lives and all will be withdrawn by the end of 2026. All K sets were meant to be retired years ago, however delays with new trains has seen them remain in service to this day. Along with the other suburban silver sets (S sets and C sets), I consider them to be Sydney’s most iconic train aside from the Tangara, and the silver sets are certainly infamous for their lack of air conditioning on S sets. I only ask one thing from you as the viewer, that being to enjoy this video on board a Sydney rail veteran as much as I enjoyed making it.
