Healthy Church--Truth-Driven Worship | John

In today's sermon, Pastor William Lawler preaches from John 4: 19-21, on the vital role of truth-driven worship in the church. In this passage, we see how Jesus defines true, God-honoring worship. We see the Biblical principle of revelation and response when we worship. Our RESPONSE in worship is a response to what God has REVEALED, or made known to us, about himself through the Bible. We see this modeled throughout the Bible, and in this sermon, we look at several passages that demonstrate this form of God-honoring worship. At Sheridan Hills, we seek to honor the Lord in our worship by singing songs that have lyrics grounded in the truth of who God is as He has revealed to us through his Word!
