Refreshed 2025 Honda Civic Gets New Tech, Hybrid Powertrain

The Honda Civic compact car is getting an update for the 2025 model year with subtle styling tweaks, new tech features and an available gas-electric hybrid powertrain. The hybrid system promises to be both powerful (with anticipated output of 200 horsepower) and fuel-efficient (with expected gas mileage of around 50 mpg combined).

The 2025 Civic is available in sedan and four-door hatchback form, with the sedan arriving at dealerships in June and the hatchback following later in the summer of 2024. Come with us as Road Test Editor Brian Normile runs through the changes to the car.
