झारखंड के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन हाई कोर्ट से बड़ी राहत मिली है। जमीन घोटाले में पिछले कई महीनों से जेल में बंद हेमंत सोरेन को जमानत दे दी गई है। अदालत ने 13 जून को सुनवाई पूरी करने के बाद फैसला सुरक्षित रख लिया था। सुनवाई के दौरान ईडी की ओर कहा गया था कि हेमंत सोरेन ने अनधिकृत रूप से बड़गाईं अंचल के 8.86 एकड़ जमीन पर कब्जा किया है। यह पीएमएलए एक्ट में निहित प्रविधानों के तहत मनी लाउंड्रिंग है। ईडी ने कहा था कि हेमंत सोरेन प्रभावशाली व्यक्ति हैं। जमानत मिलने पर जांच को बाधित करने का प्रयास कर सकते हैं। उन्हें जमानत की सुविधा नहीं दी जाए।
