Note: All 3 characters are EX+3LB with their enhancement boards and bloom passives. Sephiroth has his LD and the following spheres - his own, Raijin (RF) and Vaan (RF). Desch has his LD and the following spheres - his own, Raijin (RF) and Vincent (RF). Lightning has her BURST, her LD, her HG armor, and the following spheres - her own, Ardyn (RF), and the Hope.

Lightning is equipped with Reno Call while Sephiroth is equipped with Penelo Call.

Wave 1: Weretiger x3 (completed on turn 38)
Wave 2: Wild Shearer x2 (completed on turn 81)

Do a run without Gladio for this LUFENIA is tough. Most of the tanks (Snow, Galuf, WoL, Basch) are pretty limited in tight turn count fight. You need the DPT to meet the turn and the 3 Weretigers are there to make you miss the turn count. For my unit to instant break/ gravity zero the boss BRV gain, I have chosen Sephiroth as the unit. His Slowga aura from his Jenova helps to minimize the turns that the boss could take. His LD debuff allows your units to hit higher BRV damage.

Wave 1: Weretiger x3 (completed on turn 38)

Keep Desch in his Anti-Physical stance (S2). Use his S1 and switch back to S2 (when he has 2 turns to act for charge his 100% AOE EX). I have him uses his LD.

After my party got the buffs, I swap my Lightning out for my Lightning. Have Lightning friend use LD, BT, LD, LD, LD. Try to damage them evenly. 2 LD to one target and the BT for one.

This should buy you the turns you need to setup your team buffs. Skills conversation is important here but tries to finish it within 40T count and you need to kill them off before they reaches the Ferocious Roar VI aura. Avoid unnecessary breaks that mess up your turn order is crucial for this one.

Wave 2: Wild Shearer x2 (completed on turn 81)

Some important thresholds you need to take note of. 79%*, 59%*, 49%, and 29%*.

Make sure that you get Sephiroth's EX ready at 79%, 59%, and 29% HP thresholds. This allows him to shave the BRV to 0 for Lightning and Desch to break them with their HP+ or BRV+. Try to break in a way that you mess up their turn order and don't push them back their turns. Lightning use Army of One primarily in this phase until after 29% HP aura.

Without Gladio covering, surviving the Spearshot after the aura phase is important. Pray to RNG that they don't target the same character as that will kill the character who is not synergy even you have Desch's S2 BRV damage resistance up. Have Desch use his AA to heal if need. Sephiroth uses Penelo Call if the party HP is low. Have Sephiroth use his Fervant Blow to move his turns up so that you can reach his turn in time to use his EX for the thresholds. My Lightning got double targeted at the 59% threshold and fortunately, she survives, and Desch paralysis procs on both Shearer. Sephiroth uses Penelo Call.

Get them both to below 49% at the same. I have Lightning use her BURST (she will heal up thanks to the Call buff). Have her delay the one with the higher orb count. Will focus on her remaining onslaught on the one with the low orb. Ending her turn in the LD. Hammer at the lower orb count. Make sure they don't target the same character. Brute force both Shearers down to 29%. Have Sephiroth use his EX to gravity 0 the BRV and Lightning and Desch to break. Once they act and the red aura is dispelled, it is time to nuke them to orbit and finish the fight.

LUFENIA mechanics:
It is only applicable for the 2nd wave (i.e. Wild Shearers). The orb cannot be tanked. Once it is triggered, it is an instant party KO. At the start of the battle, both Shearers have an orb count of 25. The orbs will disappear when both Shearers' HP dropped below 79%. Reappears on 49% with orb count of 15 and disappears when the Shearers' HP drops below 29%. The orb will reappear with 10T when it uses Spear Shot (which is usually the first action it does after 29% HP). This is a DPT race like the previous LUFENIA (Sneering Demon)
