THE FLIPPING IDIOT VS FINE TUNING HAND CUT DOVETAILS!

Описание к видео THE FLIPPING IDIOT VS FINE TUNING HAND CUT DOVETAILS!

This Video is about me using some tricks that make half blind dovetails work.

Again, I am not one of those guys that is teaching classes and cutting dovetails seven days a week.

I am the guy down in his basement that needs a drawer once every three weeks and takes about three days to make a pair of drawers for some little tables at this point.

This video is for all the other guys and ladies out there that want to make their own furniture, or maybe nervous about cutting dovetails by hand, and would benefit from things that I have picked up making these little tables and drawers.

Here is a link to the belt sander that I found for 50 bucks at a tool swap for woodworkers.

Yes I got super lucky!

But the truth is you could take something solid and flat, tape some sandpaper to it, and then just take your tail board and drag it back-and-forth until you’ve fine tuned your tails.

You don’t need a belt sander with a platinum to make this happen unless you’re in a hurry.

Here is a link to the Raikhan sander, and it’s also pretty easy to find sawdust along the way…
