Doorways Prelude was described as a psychological horror — and while I don’t totally agree with that label, this game still delivered some strong scares. The best part? They’re not cheap jumpscares. Instead, the tension builds through exploration, puzzle-solving, and creepy atmospheric design that kept me on edge.

In this first installment, we step into the shoes of Thomas Foster, an investigator searching for the dark truths behind four psychopaths. Prelude covers the first two chapters of that journey, blending adventure exploration with unsettling horror elements that stick with you long after playing.

And the story doesn’t stop here — we’ll continue with Chapter Three: Doorways Underworld next Terror Tuesday, as we chase down the third of the four psychopaths.
