Here we have “Genghis Khan" by Leo de Hartog. This is a biography of the famous Mongol leader, covering his life, legacy, and impact on the regions and cultures he conquered. This book was published by the Folio Society in 2005, and it’s introduced by David Morgan.

The book is bound in buckram with a design by Neil Packer. The binding is Smyth-sewn and the book opens up well. The paper used is Caxton wove paper, a very thick, high quality paper with a creamy colour.

The illustrations for this edition are reproduced from the Persian History of the Mongols, by Rashid al-Din, circa 1430. The illustrations are printed on semi-glossy photographic paper. The book is printed and bound in the UK. Now please enjoy the illustrations and Adrian von Ziegler’s wonderful music.
