Learn a simple, easy technique on how to apply a chocolate collar on any type of cake

This YouTube video will show you how to apply a fancy chocolate collar around your cake by just using a strip of butter paper or parchment paper and an icing bag full of melted cooled chocolate. It is that easy and really quick.

Cut your butter paper according to the height and circumference of your cake. Pipe the cooled and melted chocolate in a criss cross design on the butter paper, let the chocolate semi set and quickly wrap it around the side of the cake.

Place the entire cake in the fridge for 10 to 15 minutes or in the freezer for a few minutes. Once out of the fridge, gently remove the butter paper carefully from the hardened chocolate collar and you have a beautiful chocolate collar around your cake. It cant get any easier than this !!!!
The chocolate collar looks so professional and totally gives a wow effect on any type of cake you want to make.
