The Dynamics and Aeroelasticity Group, part of the Airframe Directorate at the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), is playing a pivotal role in ensuring the structural integrity and performance of India's indigenous fighter aircraft programs, including the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Air Force Mk-1, LCA Air Force Mk-2, and the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft(AMCA).
Tasked with conducting structural dynamic, flutter, and aeroelastic response analyses, the group is driving cutting-edge testing and validation to ensure these aircraft operate safely across their entire flight envelope. To accelerate the certification process for the LCA Mk-2, which introduces a novel canard control surface, ADA has proposed outsourcing a portion of its flutter and dynamic analysis activities as a work package, signaling a strategic move to leverage external expertise while advancing India's aerospace ambitions.
