Trip Report- YTZ to IAD on Porter Airlines!

Wow, this airport is an experience! In walking distance from the city center of Toronto, you can't beat the convenience of the Billy Bishop airport. So far it's the only airport I've had to walk through an underwater tunnel to get to.

This airport does have a few drawbacks. My main beef is with Schindler and their nonsensical programming of the elevators- there's a bank of six of them, but because the call button can only open one at a time, not all elevators can be used!

Another issue- Only turboprops fly in and out of this airport, and these tend to be easily delayed by the threat of bad weather. Such was the case this day, when this plane was almost an hour late to leave.
