Much attention has been given to Brecourt Manor due to the association that it has with Band of Brothers. But there were equally heroic and important acts that took place at nearby Holdy Battery, which was firing on Causeway #1 of Utah Beach. This is also the place where some awful atrocities took place at the hands of the German defenders. In this episode, we're joining Erik Dorr of The Gettysburg Museum of History to go back to the site where one paratrooper of the 101st Airborne spent his final moments with an artifact that was with him on that day.
