What's up everybody. It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're checking out this ratcheting fender hanger from Taylor made. It's going to allow you to adjust the height that your fender sitting really easily. Let's check it out. How the strap works is it's going to replace your normal fender rope you use and it's going to be just easier to adjust.

You have two points of adjustment here, we have the ratchet strap that connects it to the top rail, so that's going to hold it in place. You're going to hear it click as you pull it through, so you know that it's locked in there. How to release that, you can pull up on this and then you push the ratchet right back through. So if you need to adjust it there you can. But I wanna keep it nice and tight, so we'll just pull it back through and hear that click.

There we go, I know that's staying there, no knot needed. Then we'll come down to the buckle here and just lift up and that's going to lower it down. Let me push away from the dock. Lift up on that and pull the strap down, and lower our fender if that's what we want to do. But if we find out that maybe it's not right, it needs to come up a little bit higher.

You just pull down on the strap and pulls it up. And then once you got where the height you want it you just leave it alone. It's going to stay put, you see I'm pulling down on it, it's not adjusting, it's not going anywhere. It's going to hold it right where you need it. The strap's going to be made out of UV resistant, polyester webbing.

So you don't have to worry about it fraying or coming loose over time. It can handle being in the sun and in the water. Our strap comes in a quantity of one and it's pretty easy to install. So just check out how I did it. Setting the strap up is really easy Just going to run it through the eyelet here at the bottom. And we'll go through this buckle here, Through the back and then down to the front. There we go, now it's that loop. We can pull down, tighten it. So with that, we can pull down on that strap just to tighten it up a little bit, to make sure the loop's not going to come undone We're good. So we'll drop it down, right where we need on the boat. It's going to go right there. We'll run the ratchet strap around and feed it back into this buckle and you'll hear it click, let you know it's catching. Pull up just a little bit more there. We're good. Overall, I think this is a good addition to the boat. It's going to be far easier to adjust this. I don't have to worry about tying a knot here at the top. It's secure, I know that it's a ratchet too, I can hear those clicks so I know that's not going anywhere. And if I do need to adjust the height, I don't have to untie anything either. I can easily adjust it here up and down. This just makes things a lot easier when you're at the dock or next to another boat. Well I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out, I hope this helped..
