- In this video I go detail the process to select the proper wiring size/gauge, connectors and circuit breaker to properly and safely wire a trolling motor. The trolling motor I am working with in this video is a Minn Kota Terrova 12v 55lb thrust with I-pilot however the process is sound for all types and models of trolling motors.
