Long-form journalism in wartime

Описание к видео Long-form journalism in wartime

Audiences want depth and context, narrative and developed characters - so long-form reporting is in demand. One of the best feature writers in Ukraine, Nataliya Gumenyuk, joins journalist Jen Stout to discuss her work: explaining the war in Ukraine to an international audience through reported features and essays. Gumenyuk, based in Kyiv, has written for Vanity Fair, The Guardian, The Atlantic, Die Zeit, and the New York Times among others, documenting the war and her country's transformation since the full-scale invasion.
