In the past 24 hours, here’s what happened in the Indian stock market:

1. Mukesh Ambani is planning to build the world’s largest AI data center in India. This data center will be located in Jamnagar and will have a capacity of 3 gigawatts. The estimated cost of the project is expected to be between $20 to $30 billion.

2. Jio and Airtel have launched new voice and SMS-only plans. TRAI has stated that telecom companies should provide such plans for users who do not wish to use data services. In response, both telecom companies have introduced new plans catering to this need.

3. Meta and WhatsApp have received significant relief in India. Earlier, the CCI had implemented a rule that banned data sharing between WhatsApp and Meta for five years. However, after Meta’s appeal, the court has currently put a hold on the data-sharing ban.

4. The board of IREDA has approved raising funds of up to ₹5,000 crore. This money will be raised through QIP (Qualified Institutional Placement), and the fundraising will be conducted in one or more phases.
