What Is Military Firefighting?

Military firefighters from all branches are highly trained individuals who work as a team to combat the dangerous and unpredictable force that is fire. Along with being experts in fire suppression and rescue, they can also provide basic emergency medical services including CPR, wound suppression, and other first aid. A vital aspect of military firefighting is Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting — responding to incidents involving aircraft and highly flammable fuel.
