Discussed moments about the origin (raw moments) and the moments about the mean ( central moments ) in terms of expectation for discrete and continuous probability distributions. The relationship of central moments and raw moments is discussed for the first four moments ( key moments). The concept of Skewness ( lack of symmetry ), left skewed and right skewed the coefficient of skewness formula, and the concept of Kurtosis (peakedness), graphical presentation of Leptokurtic, mesokurtic, and platokurtic, the coefficient of kurtosis, the kurtosis formulae, and their interpretation are discussed. At the end, two examples, one for a discrete distribution and the other for continuous distribution, are discussed for central moments, skewness, and kurtosis.
