【從陶泥到瓷器 A tale of clay: how ceramics are made】

清朝乾隆皇帝下旨繪製《陶冶圖冊》，又責承窰務的督陶官唐英加以文字說明，以圖文並茂的形式記錄製造瓷器的工序，動畫中可見工匠們正努力工作，從採石製泥到拉坯上彩，他們運用不同工具和技術，燒製出各式各樣的精美瓷器，生動地呈現乾隆官窯瓷器的品類和精細分工的生產模式。

Created under the decree of the Qianlong Emperor, the Illustrated album of ceramics making is a pictorial record of the ceramics production process, with explanatory texts written by Tang Ying, the then Superintendent of Imperial Porcelain Works. This animation introduces the various types of ceramics made by official kilns during the Qianlong era, and each of the highly specialised stages throughout the production process. The potters are hard at work––from quarrying and making clay to shaping and colouring bisques. A variety of tools and techniques are used to craft a wide range of exquisite wares.
