Overlooking the Kentucky River and the Kentucky State Capitol, at a prime location inside Frankfort Cemetery, is Daniel and Rebecca Boone’s graves. Daniel was a legendary woodsman, explorer and many think he was the first non-native American to see Kentucky. For being so famous, when he died in Missouri, his grave was not even marked, nor was his wife that had died a few years before. 25 years after Daniel passed away, the owners of a new cemetery in Frankfort, Kentucky, convinced his descendants that he and Rebecca should be honored by being buried in his once beloved Kentucky. The problem is that the bones taken to Frankfort may not actually be of Daniel or his wife,…
