Post quals and some pre-research reading later, I was trying to figure out why I was working on a math phd and what I could do to get back to the enthusiasm for math and doing this whole thing. This video is pretty outdated at this point (I am still doing phd things, but anyhow) it is still something that I was feeling as a part of the process so it feels okay to post this math phd update still. There will be another more recent one soon as well!
