The Region 15 Farewell Tour was organized on Saturday 24 May 2014 at Campbelltown bus interchange for the purpose of bidding a much-deserved tributary farewell to the incumbent operator, Busways Group, after their loss of the Region 15 bus contract by mandate from Transport for New South Wales and the subsequent transfer to its successor Busabout (Neville's Bus Service), which will commence their operations from Sunday 1 June 2014 onwards.

Busways Group has proudly operated route and school bus services in the Macarthur Region for 49 years since 1965, and will effectively cease operations at the end of Saturday 31 May 2014.
