As the Vietnamese’s middle class rapidly grows, there are rising opportunities for NSW ed-tech businesses to participate in Vietnam’s bourgeoning and digital-ready education and ed-Tech landscape -- a sector now worth an estimated $3 billion, up 35 percent from 2019. With the ratification of key FTAs including RCEP and AANZFTA and the NSW-HCMC Sister State MOU, the sector opportunities for NSW businesses are some of the most attractive, globally.

Vietnam has high demand for education which can bridge skills gaps across the economy, from industry 4.0 to construction and hospitality. With high internet (particularly mobile internet) penetration in-market, there is increasing demand for remote-learning in primary, secondary, tertiary and vocational education.
NSW businesses can take advantage of these growing opportunities and entry pathways to provide high-quality education to urban and regional areas alike, meeting the demand in-market.
