The Hyundai HYM40LI380P is battery powered cordless lawn mower that is supplied with a 2.5Ah 40v lithium-ion battery and provides up to 30 minutes of runtime. It has a 38cm deck size, a 40 litre grass collection box, 5 cutting heights from 20mm to 70mm, and is lightweight at just 13.9Kg (17kg with battery). The Hyundai HYM40LI380P is supplied with a mulching plug and is covered by a 3 year Hyundai warranty.

Hyundai are well known for their innovative approach to anything motorised and when I look at the features of their HYM40LI380P cordless lawn mower it isn’t hard to see why. What you’re getting is essentially a mid sized cutting width, best suited to small to medium sized lawns. There is younger brother, the Hyundai HYM40LI330, which has a cutting width that is 5cm smaller at 33cm. There are also 2 larger brothers with deck sizes of 42cm and 46cm, more on those later.

What’s more, this is a cordless lawn mower that is going to give you superior durability since it has been designed to withstand the elements and will not rust - when you’re putting it through its paces, you want to be sure it will measure up.

In terms of power, you won’t get anything else that is much more reliable since the battery is not only long-lasting but also super quiet, but we will look at this in a little more depth later on.
