Dry Fish & Tomato Curry ငါးခြောက်ခရမ်းချဥ်သီးငပိချက် is a Burmese popular dish. It has savoury, salty, sour, and sweet tastes. This is the taste that you can get from most of the Burmese curry. Many people cook this curry in the middle of the country area because those areas are far from the seaside of the country so they catch fish from rivers during the big fish season, and they cook fresh on the same day. Another way they add a lot of salt to fish and keep it for 3 days or a week after washing all the salt and cooking it. Another way is to clean the fish and marinate them with salt and keep them dry under sunlight to keep for a year.
Today, the curry is used with dry fish with tomato, which can get plenty in the winter season. You can see all the people add tomatoes in their every curry in those areas and the people who live in down side of the country, they don't add tomatoes in their curry as tomato plants grow a lot in the middle of the country.

INGREDIENTS:
160g dry fish - soaked in water & washed
1½cup tomato-cut
2nos onion-sliced
6cloves garlic-garlic
½tbsp chilli flakes
½tbsp chilli powder
¼tsp turmeric powder
⅓cup coriander leaves-washed and cut
3nos fresh chilli-sliced
¼tsp MSG
salt to taste
⅓cup cooking oil
