The Convicted - Shanti

An internal war wages in different course of people’s lives . May it be searching for eternal happiness and love, or running after the goal they seek. Either way, the battle inside them lights a fire that desire to achieve more, even when everything else around is to cease. The strongest will to never give up lights an array of hope that acts as an ongoing motivation.

A war lays its foundation based on self-conceit but masks it with the well adjusted words of wanting ‘Peace’ and growth of people towards happiness and better future. However, when the war finally ends, its not always what we achieve. The ones exposed scars for life, living the pain and memories.
'Shanti' is written considering the war and its effects during civil war period (1996 - 2006) in Nepal. The revolution brought many casualties and traumas into the lives of innocent people. There’s no beauty in chaos and there’s no beauty in people dying.

Mahatma Gandhi taught us that violence is not necessary to resolve issues and there can always be alternate ways to achieve the desired outcome.
