Went to the beach this evening, and posted the real-time version of the sun setting, along with some other scenes of the area. Nice. Near Station 23, you can see all sorts of the natural grasses, trees, flowers, and insect life native to the area. Sea Oats (Beach Grass) are the most common grasses on these dunes. They help stabilize the sand with their deep root systems.
Saltmarsh Cordgrass is a tall grass thrives in the salt marshes near the beach. It provides food and shelter for many creatures that live near Station 23. Also featured near the end of the video are some yellow evening primrose flowers. These flowers open during the evening and are closed during the day.
