Francesca Recanati is the lead author of the upcoming CDSB Framework Application guidance on water-related disclosures (Water Guidance). Together with over 60 expert members of the Technical Working sub-Group, set up to support the development of the guidance, she is working to provide report preparers with a practical guide on disclosing material and decision-useful water-related information in the mainstream reports.

The Water Guidance, planned for release in early 2021, builds on the principles and requirements of the CDSB Framework, answering the “how to” and “what to” questions for report preparers of water-related information. In addition, the Water Guidance will feature checklists, examples of good practice and useful resources.

One of the resources highlighted in the Water Guidance is the WWF Water Risk Filter. Members of CDSB’s Technical Working Group on water, Ariane Laporte-Bisquit and Rafael Campargo, will guide us through the latest update to the Water Risk Filter, featuring new materials on scenario analysis aligned with the recommendations of the Task force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
