UN Council Approves US Draft Backing Trump’s 20-Point Gaza Plan | Front Line With Tazmeen Javed | Dr Munawar Hussain

The UN Security Council has approved a US-drafted resolution supporting Donald Trump’s 20-point peace plan for Gaza. The resolution orders the creation of an international stabilization force aimed at dismantling militant structures and neutralizing weapons. It also establishes a peace board to oversee reconstruction and economic recovery in Gaza. Thirteen countries, including Pakistan, voted in favor, while Russia and China abstained. The US ambassador called the decision historic, claiming that security forces and investment will bring stability and growth. Hamas, however, completely rejected the resolution, calling it an attempt to impose international trusteeship over Gaza.
