Circa 1977 on the set of the late night talk show called Night Owls our enchanting yet troubled host Jack Delroy (David Dastmalchian) is hopping to deliver his highest rating episode on Halloween night. Having played second fiddle to Johnny Carson Jack is pulling out all stops with an array of guests that include a trans medium, a possessed girl, a paranormal researcher and of course a sceptic to knock him off the top spot. In this intimate conversation we go behind the scenes with the Cairnes brothers to understand the inspiration for the film without ever becoming a spoiler. Capturing the zeitgeist of the late 70's, Satanic panic, Serial killings, Seminal horror films and headline grabbing hauntings this film genuinely feels authentic.
