How long does trenchless epoxy pipe lining last? Well, this is the most beautiful thing of it all. Maybe you've gone to Home Depot when you've bought epoxy glue, the two-party epoxy you mix part A and B together. They heat up and they react, and they turn into rock. Well, that's what this stuff is. When we install epoxy pipe lining inside a pipe, they're literally two tubes of chemicals that get mixed together and pumped into the pipe, and the chemical reaction has begun once it got mixed. And then, when it eventually leaves the tube, there's a robotic machine that spins on the inside of the pipe and applies the epoxy to the pipe. That chemical reaction will harden inside the pipe between one hour and three hours, depending on which speed epoxy we use. What stuff is hardened? It has a 50-year engineered life. It cannot degrade with acids or chemicals, and the engineered life is 50 years, but they actually expected to live at least or survive for at least 100 years for the simple reason that epoxies are completely inert, cannot react with acids, alkalines or volatile substances.
