Seeing as it's the start of the Shetland Box and Fiddle Festival I thought I'd better post a video. As much as I'd love to be home playing and dancing away to my hearts content, due to university commitments, I'm unable to attend this year. insert sad face here

This is a traditional Scottish tune called Morrison's Jig. Peter Wood, my first accordion tutor, taught it to me many, many years ago. It is a very common session tune and is played at a lot of ceilidhs. It's fun and easy to play, so if you would like to learn this tune, drop me a comment below and I will try to make a tutorial for it.
