When asked about the similarity of Tmasha to his real life Ranbir said that Tamasha was not an autobiography and had no connection to his life story.
Imtiaz felt that Deepika Padukone has undergone immense transformation and today has shed her shyness for confidence. The actress added she is finally in a place where she is enjoying her craft and being in front of the camera.
When asked about the toughest moment in the film Deepika said, “Abusing people does not come naturally to me. So, in the scene where I am asking a man to allow me to make phone call and he does not budge and I abuse him, it was tough."
