ERA 9 a fait appel au rocker Martin Deschamps pour enregistrer une version franco-anglo d' OXYGÈNE un vidéoclip sur l'intimidation et le courage.

Le chanteur de ERA 9, Phil Paolino explique: «Nous sommes de grands fans de Martin Deschamps et nous étions honorés quand on a su qu'il acceptait de nous aider à traduire notre chanson.»
«J'ai aimé la chanson dès la première écoute. C'est rock, c'est dynamique... En traduisant «Oxygène», je voulais garder le message essentiel de la version originale, soit: «L'urgence de vivre»! Trop de jeunes souffrent et s'enfoncent dans le malheur. Mais si on entend ...les bons mots (ou une chanson) au bon moment, on peut briser ses chaînes et sauver sa peau.»
ERA 9 et Martin Deschamps nous offrent un vidéo clip proposant des images choquantes, qui raconte trois «cas vécus» qui viennent mettre en avant-plan certaines ressources auxquelles les jeunes en détresse et en quête de «compréhension» ont accès de nos jours, soit: Jeunesse j'écoute, Gai écoute et Mira.
Nicolas: Vivant avec un handicap aux jambes et un problème d'élocution depuis son enfance, ce jeune homme a vécu une adolescence difficile et fut victime d'intimidation à l'école. Maintenant âgé de 24 ans, Nicolas Vandal (auteur du livre: Le cauchemar de l'intimidation..J'ai failli en mourir) replonge dans son passé afin de revivre ses moments de détresse pour la caméra, des scènes fortes en émotions.
Marilyn et Mélanie: Elles ont décidé de participer au clip afin de faire tomber les tabous concernant l'homosexualité. Leur lutte contre les préjugés a commencé à l'adolescence et depuis, elles continuent de défendre leur liberté.
Stacy: En 2011, On annonce à cette jeune femme qu'elle souffre d'une myélite transverse, ce qui occasionne une paralysie «soudaine» de toute la partie inférieure de son corps. On lui annonce aussi qu'elle ne marchera plus jamais. Mais sa détermination aura fait mentir tous les médecins et leurs diagnostics.
«Tout le monde a ses problèmes, mais quand on veut, on peut!: commente Martin. « ..Et si on a besoin d'aide, il ne faut pas hésiter d'appeler: À L'AIDE!»

Martin Deschamps met ERA 9 through a mutual friend Glen Robinson. Martin says, "ERA 9 emailed me and asked for help to translate their song into French. After I had listened to "Oxygen" a couple of times, I started to really get addicted to the song and all of a sudden I could hear it in La Langue de Molière... French!
ERA 9's lead singer and songwriter, Phil Paolino explains, "We're huge Martin fans and are so honored that he related to our song and wanted to work with us. The video tells a message and we hope it will inspire people to break free of the chains that hold them down and be inspired to get out and live!" Martin adds, "When I started translating "Oxygen", I wanted to keep that message about the emergency to live to the fullest. It's terrible when people start victimizing themselves on things they don't have control of. As a physically challenged person, who found a way to live an incredibly exciting life, bringing hope to the world in a song means a lot to me."
