Gray Code is a Non-weighted code. Since two successive Gray codes differ by only one bit, they are also known as cyclic code or unit distance code.

Because of this property of the Gray code, they are used in applications where the switching between the two successive codes needs to be minimum. The Gray codes are used in the position encoders as well in the digital communication for minimizing the error during the communication.

In the later part of the video, the binary to Gray code and Gray code to Binary conversion are explained with exmaples.

This video will be helpful to all the students of science and engineering in understanding the importance of Gray Code and, Gray to Binary and Binary to Gray conversion.
