The TRUE Definition of Emunah/FAITH and Bitachon\TRUST

Emunah: The belief that HaShem created the world, is All-Powerful and runs my life moment by moment. Therefore, everything that happens, whether it seams good or bad in my eyes, comes from HaShem, Who loves me and knows what I need to fulfill my role in this world.

Bitachon: Emunah in practice. Because I know that HaShem is All-Powerful and that He loves me, I place all my trust in HaShem. In essence, I live with HaShem.


Emunah forms my thoughts and Middot/Character. Bitachon forms my Actions and Responses.
