Two figures stand motionless on the platform, their shapes minuscule in comparison to the leviathan beside them. Neither speaks, their postures laden with a quiet resignation, as though words might awaken something in the depths below—a presence that has been waiting far too long for the company of the living. The lake stretches endlessly around them, a mirror to a sky that offers no answers, its glassy surface betraying no movement, not even the faintest ripple.
